Raise request for quotation (RFQ) or purchase order (PO)

5: Receive and check products
Verify quality of products received against specifications.

This course is aimed for Procurement Executive/Sourcing Executive from the Wholesale Trade and all other sectors who supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/She able to analyse the suitable supplier from the approved supplier list so as to rise Request For Quotation (RFQ) or Purchase Order (PO) for approval.

This course will help the organisation to manage the ordering, receipt, review and approval of items from suppliers so as to meet business goals.

Years of Experience:
There are no minimum requirements for entry although any experience in Wholesale Trade industry or Purchasing or Procurement would be able to aid the learner in making sense of the learning materials presented throughout the course.

• Willingness to learn and apply the knowledge and skills to the workplace

Assumed Skills and Knowledge
• Read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WPL level 4 or above.
• Communicate information effectively and work in a team.
• Understand and apply factual and procedural knowledge.
• Apply basic cognitive and technical skills to carry out defined tasks and solve routine problems using simple procedures and tools.
• Use limited discretion in resolving issues or enquiries.
