• Know the purpose and basic functions of the core Power BI components
• Use the Power BI desktop client and web app
• Connect to a data source using either the Power BI desktop client or the web app
• Model data
• Create reports and visualizations
The course is designed to equipped students with the basic skills needed to create visual reports with data analytics using Power BI. Upon course completion, learners will be able to consume and transform data using the Power BI desktop application, create models from raw data sources and configure Dashboards using the Power BI Service.

Module 5: Introduction to the Power BI Web App

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and web browsers
Suggested Prerequisites:
• Some basic knowledge of data warehouse schema topology (including star and snowflake schemas).
